चहा सरतो. . गप्पा सरतात

चहा सरतो, गप्पा सरतात,

बैठक सरते.

पण सरतेशेवटी तळाशी. .

थोडीथोडकी चहा नेहमीच उरते.

तसं पाहिलं तर,

गप्पांचंही तसंच असतं,

ग्लास रिता झाला . .

तरी मन रितं नसतं,

दर बैठकीत नेमकं . .

मुद्द्याचं बोलायचं उरतं. .

मग वाटतं. .

दोन कटिंग सांगाव्यात,

आणि सांगावं . .

जे जे सलतंय ते,

पण पुन्हा एकदा. .

चहा सरतो, गप्पा सरतात,

बैठक सरते.

पण सरतेशेवटी तळाशी. .

थोडीथोडकी चहा ही नेहमीच उरते.

रंग ही रंग है,

रंग की जंग है,

खोटे-खरे, केसर-हरे,

नफरत से भरे,

रंग न्यारे, रंग सारे।

रंग ही रंग है,

रंग से जो तंग है,

सांज-सवेरे, सब से परे,

साथी मेरे, साथी तेरे,

रंग से भरे, सारे के सारे।

रंग ही रंग है,

हर रंग  मलंग है,

ना प्यार है, तरंग है,

ना जष्न है, उमंग है,

बस जंग ही जंग है,

रंग ही रंग है।

A dream woke me up.

And I couldn't care any less.

I could care no more for applause,

I could bow no more to the praise,

Let it all lay there,

Let it all be a mess,

The twinkling of stars. .

is nothing but the testimony to the passing of time!

I am done doing rounds to make it all rhyme,

Its nothing but the usual sorcery of time!

Just when I had nothing more to give up,

Out of nowhere, a dream woke me up!

A Sunday : (shortpoem)

It's Sunday, a Sunday unlike others,

I am up early,

But I am not with my brothers,

A Sunday, Warm and sunny,

A day at its best,

And i am laying on my bed and still at unrest,

A Sunday, full of rejoice,

A day that brings with it a lot of fun,

But here i am, off the blocks but not on the run,

A day so lazy, A day so long,

Perfect to roam out with friends,

And i am just staring at the dead ends

It's Sunday, A wishful day,

and i wish i was home at prime-time,

But alas! Here i am far away from home jotting a rhyme,

It's a Sunday,

And there is lot to be done,

Well agreed, but not on this one..
